The solo album by Jodl Gazvoda, frontman of the cult band Valhala, which was formed twenty years ago and has, through various line-ups, successfully presented and represented the tradition of its own original music in Slovenia and more broadly across Europe, is undoubtedly the work of a mature and experienced musician, essentially presenting a psychological interplay of positive sound with an emphasis on the openness and creativity of the composition of individual tracks, which this time are further supported by vocals and socially relevant themes in the lyrics.

As mentioned, the vocal-instrumental album entitled Got to be ranks among the most promising and current releases in the so-called rock-blues genre across Europe. Listening to the record instantly transports us back to nostalgic times of sincere and uncompromising musical expression. For this reason, fans and connoisseurs of the genre can undoubtedly sense, right from the start, the convincing sound of the performer and the performance of a mixture of rock, blues and a classical ambient form of musical expression.

The album was recorded in the mobile StudioMatic studio in June 2014. The album contains nine tracks, all of which are the compositional, arranging, production and performance work of Jodl Gazvoda and deserve the full attention and support of a wider audience of music lovers.
